The Next Chapter! (Jenny)

- Jenny buried her face in her knees. Her first instinct read something like this: He wasn’t coming… Johnny had stood her up. She looked at the clock one more time. It read 7:08 P.M. He said that he wouldn’t be late. “Maybe he ran into trouble at home…?” “Maybe he thought I meant to leave at 7.” “Maybe… oh god, I hope he didnt get into an accident…” She sighed as her eyes drifted off into blank space. She had been thinking of the number of times she had been stood up before. She just hoped that Johnny wasn’t just like the other pricks. A deep seeded hope in her was screaming out that she hoped that Johnny get there soon. She truly felt like he was the one for her, after the many years of searching for the right one. He had never left her mind… all year. She smiled brightly and hugged her knees, just thinking about Johnny made her knees weak. Just everything about him. His style. His Personality. She just cant get over how cute he looks, especially when he forgets his contacts in the morning and has to wear his glasses to school. She adored how he would always take them off and clean them every 5 minutes because something would always smear on the lenses. Not only that, they magnified his big, brown eyes almost 2-fold. Just the idea made her giggle out loud. She then nibbled at her hair one more time, she had completely released any tension that had built up in the last 5 minutes. “Thats it, I just have to keep waiting for him. I will wait all night if I have to… as long as he comes. He is just too amazing to give up on.” She took a deep breathe and sat up, studying the passing cars in her window one more time, ever hopeful. Ever waiting for the night to start. She noticed the window was a bit foggy, so she poked the window, leaving her finger print. She took a double take of the window and then began with her fingertip “A Night To Remember, I Hope.” The reflection of her clock in the window read 7:1 P.M..
